NWSO Composers Highlight for 2011 - 2012 Season
Northwest Symphony Orchestra's 20th Season, completed in May, 2007, marked a major milestone by performing it's 100th composition by Northwest composers. This commitment to local composers has garnered seven national ASCAP awards for "Programming of Contemporary Music" (one second place national award in 2001, two first place national awards in 2007 and 1994, and four third place national awards in 2004, 1998, 1996, 1993).
Continuing its tradition the Northwest Symphony Orchestra's 25th Season presents compositions by the following Northwest composers.
