Stafford Miller

Image HolderBorn in Colorado, raised in Oregon, Stafford Miller holds a B.A. (music) and M.A. (music composition) from San Jose State University, and a D.M.A. from the University of Washington (conducting and composition).  He served North Seattle Community College for 21 years, both as an administrator and teacher, retiring in 1991.  He is the former conductor of the Everett Symphony Orchestra, the Northshore Symphonette, the Seattle Symphonic Band, and the Gesangverein Arion, Seattle's mixed German chorus.  Dr. Miller remains active as a contrabassist,
composer, arranger, and guest conductor.
