Glenn Crytzer

Glen Crytzer

In April 2008, composer Glenn Crytzer visited schools in the Highline School District to mentor young musicians and to help develop future audiences for contemporary music. The visits were in conjunction with the world premier of his composition, "Concerto for Violincello and Orchestra," which was performed by cellist Joshua Roman and the NWSO.

As part of the Symphony for Students program, Mr. Crytzer facilitated a composition by all students from the Pacific Middle School Wind Ensemble. The composition was then performed by all the students with the NWSO on a subscription concert on April 23, 2010.
