Mentoring Program

The Northwest Symphony Orchestra's Mentoring Program provides advancing instrumental students an opportunity to participate in the orchestra. Many of the orchestra's members are instrumental teachers who invite their students to play a composition by a Northwest Composer. This experience provides the student an opportunity to play in a symphony orchestra as well as the experience of performing new compositions.

In addition to student performance opportunities, the Northwest Symphony Orchestra provides music education to the Highline Public School District.
