The Northwest Symphony Orchestra is once again participating in the annual benefit concert for Seattle Children’s Hospital presented by LUMA. This concert, WHY WE DREAM, is an immersive musical journey into our dreams, why they exist, what they can mean, and how they collide with our waking lives. Performed by the Northwest Symphony Symphony Orchestra and local Seattle area choirs, this world premiere by Mateo Messina will be performed by over 175 musicians.
The concert will also feature special musical guest, DEVOTCHKA! performing their music from the beloved Oscar winning film, Little Miss Sunshine! You’ll see excerpts from the film on the big screen with the band performing with the Northwest Symphony Orchestra. Proceeds from this concert go to kids and families going through treatment at Seattle Children's Hospital.
