”Alan HovHaness Celebration Concert”
AT The ROADHOUSE at 7:00pm in the City of Seatac

Celebrating the music of long time City of SeaTac resident Alan Hovhaness, this will be an evening of chamber music by Alan Hovhaness. Also on the concert will readings from the new biography of Alan Hovhaness read by his son William Holst.
This free concert will be in the intimate setting of The Roadhouse in the City of SeaTac and will include pieces such as Processional and Fugue, Sonata for Harp, Khrimian Hairig, Nocturne for Harp and Psalm and Fugue. As well as the strings of the NWSO, the concert will feature NWSO harpist Tamara Dobranic and NWSO principal clarinet Brian Schappals. Collaborating with Crescendo North America this concert will also focus on spiritual aspects of the music of Alan Hovhaness.
